New ideas and new food recipes....

Hello everyone....

Sorry, been away from the blog for a while.... Trying to come up with crafts and food ideas. Here's what we left off a while back....

Been working on my Irish chain quilt.. Here's what it looks like to refresh our mind...

Now here's what almost complete Irish chain looks like.. I even added butterfly to each squares took me 2 1/2 weeks to hand stitch each butterfly.... It takes time and lots of love into this...

Last part will be the name..... Almost done... Will post once it completed....
Now catching up fast forward.....  I made a tee shirt out of a tank top very simple and easy to make ...
It's not that hard..... Just a shirt, scissor, sewing machine, pins also....

Before......

During...... See the white line it's scraps pieces, yellow line is keep but cut them about  1 1/2 inches and save that one for next step..

Pin the top and back part, sew them not to close to the edge. Because you want to take the piece that you cut, to pull thru the loop , to tied them at the end.

Yes that's me..... I made this took me what 20 mins to make.. Pass weekend was one hour cuz I was making two more shirts and  teach my friend how to make this lovely tee shirt into tank top....

Finally last part........ Recipes..... Yes.....
My fav once a while dinner or lunch...
Easy to make and simple!!!

Oven Roasted Smoked Sausage and Potatoes

Ingredients

1 package of smoked sausage, sliced into rounds

1 large onion, peeled and chopped

5 large potatoes, peeled and chopped into ½ inch cubes

olive oil, fine sea salt

freshly ground black pepper,  sweet paprika

dried thyme

a handful of greated strong cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400*F.

Line a large baking tray (with sides) with several sheets of foil, and spray with cooking spray. Set aside.

Put the sausage rounds, onions, and potatoes into a large bowl. Drizzle with a couple TBS of olive oil and season to taste with salt, pepper, paprika and dried thyme. Toss together with your hands until everything is evenly distributed. Pour this out onto the baking tray, and spread it out as much as you can.
Place into the heated oven and roast for 45 minutes to an hour, stirring every 15 minutes or so, until the potatoes are golden brown and tender. Turn off the oven.

Scatter the cheese over top of the cooked meat and potatoes, Pop back into the oven a few minutes to melt the cheese.

Simple I tell ya......

Time to sign off for the night......
If you have any question. Please feel free to let me know.....
