Good evening everyone.. Hope y'all staying warm somewhere.... We are about to hit a single digit tonight yikes...... Make sure all pets are indoors tonight hate to see them left out in the cold... :(
So I just made dinner tonight still the same recipes.. But I used the French bread instead of crescent bread.... It's could never hurt to try out different bread and flavors . Make sure you tastes them while cooking.. You don't want it to taste like blah....
It came out really good..:)
Chicken Fajita Braids....
Ingredients:
1 (8oz) can Pillsbury dough crescent dinner roll.. We used 2cans..
1Tbs vegetable oil
2 or 3 boneless chicken
1 garlic glove finely chopped..
1tsp Chile powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 small onion chopped
1/2 cup green or red, pepper cut into strips
1/4 cup salsa
2 cup shredded cheddar-montery jack cheese blend (8 oz)
1 egg white beaten
Direction: pre heat oven 350°
Heat oil. Add chicken strips garlic Chile and salt cook til you see no pink then add the red or green peppers and onion.... Make sure drain juices out before doing next step.. lay out the dough then chicken mixture on the dough the add salsa and cheese.... Now take each end cross over it like braided... Slice top of the bread for steams...
Seal them with egg white..
I sprinkles salts in top not alot tiny bit...
Bake @350° for about 25-30 mins..
once it's done take it out cool for a bit then begin slicing...
